8 General Description:
9 This bill modifies the Designation of State Highways Act by amending state highway
10 descriptions.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 . amends the description of:
14 . SR-48 in the West Jordan area;
15 . SR-85 by including recently completed portions of the Mountain View Corridor
16 Highway; and
17 . SR-92 in the Lehi area; and
18 . makes technical changes.

29 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
30 Section 1. Section 72-4-110 is amended to read:
31 72-4-110. State highways -- SR-42 to SR-46, SR-48, SR-50.
32 State highways include:
33 (1) SR-42. From the Utah-Idaho state line near Strevell, Idaho, easterly to Route 30 at
34 Curlew Junction.
35 (2) SR-43. From the Utah-Wyoming state line about 6-1/2 miles west of Manila
36 easterly through Manila to the Utah-Wyoming state line about three miles east of Manila.
37 (3) SR-44. From Route 191 at Greendale Junction northwesterly to Route 43 in
38 Manila.
39 (4) SR-45. From the Evacuation Wash Area south of Bonanza northwesterly through
40 Bonanza to Route 40 southeast of Vernal, near Naples.
41 (5) SR-46. From Route 191 at LaSal Junction easterly to the Utah-Colorado state line.
42 (6) SR-48. From the Kennecott gate in Copperton northeasterly [to 7800 South] on
43 New Bingham Highway and 9000 South to 5600 West; then northerly on 5600 West to 8600
44 South; then easterly on 8600 South, New Bingham Highway, and 7800 South to Route 68 in
45 West Jordan; then beginning again at Route 68 easterly on 7000 South and 7200 South to
46 Route 89.
47 (7) SR-50. From Route 6 in Delta southeasterly to Holden, then northerly to Route 15
48 and beginning again at Route 15 Scipio Interchange; then easterly through Scipio and
49 southeasterly to junction with Route 89 in Salina.
50 Section 2. Section 72-4-114 is amended to read:
51 72-4-114. State highways -- SR-81 to SR-90.
52 State highways include:
53 (1) SR-81. From Route 30 north to Fielding.
54 (2) SR-82. From Route 102 north on 300 East Street in Tremonton to Garland; then
55 east approximately 0.8 mile; then north to Route 13.
56 (3) SR-83. From Route 13 in Corinne westerly to Lampo Junction; then northerly to

57 Route 84 at Howell Interchange.
58 (4) SR-84. From the Utah-Idaho state line near Snowville to a point on Route 15 at the
59 Tremonton Interchange; then from another point on Route 15 near Roy to Route 80 near Echo,
60 traversing the alignment of interstate Route 84.
61 (5) SR-85. From Route 15 westerly on 2100 North in Lehi to Route 68; then beginning
62 again at Route 68 westerly on Porter Rockwell Boulevard; then northerly on Mountain View
63 Corridor Highway to Route 173.
64 (6) SR-86. From Route 65 at Henefer westerly to Route 84.
65 (7) SR-87. From Route 40 in Duchesne northerly; then easterly through Altamont;
66 thence southeasterly through Upalco; then east to Route 40 southwest of Roosevelt.
67 (8) SR-88. From the south end of the Green River Bridge south of Ouray northerly to
68 Route 40 east of Ft. Duchesne.
69 (9) SR-89. From the Utah-Arizona state line northwest of Page, Arizona, westerly to
70 Kanab; then northerly to a junction with Route 70 near Sevier Junction; then beginning again at
71 the junction with Route 70 south of Salina, northerly through Salina, Gunnison and Mt.
72 Pleasant to a junction with Route 6 at Thistle Junction; beginning again at junction with Route
73 6 at Moark Junction northerly through Springville, Provo, Orem, and American Fork to Route
74 15 north of Lehi; then beginning again at a junction with Route 71 in Draper northerly through
75 Sandy, Midvale, Murray, Salt Lake City, and Bountiful to a junction with Route 15 at the 500
76 west interchange; then beginning again at a junction with Route 15 at Lagoon northerly through
77 Uintah Junction and Ogden to Route 91 near south city limits of Brigham City; then beginning
78 again at a junction with Route 91 in Logan northeasterly to Route 30 in Garden City; then
79 northerly to the Utah-Idaho state line.
80 (10) SR-89A. From the Utah-Arizona state line south of Kanab northerly to Route 89
81 in Kanab.
82 (11) SR-90. From Route 13 in Brigham easterly on 2nd South Street to Route 91.
83 Section 3. Section 72-4-115 is amended to read:
84 72-4-115. State highways -- SR-91 to SR-97, SR-99, SR-100.
85 State highways include:
86 (1) SR-91. From Route 15 south of Brigham City; then easterly through Brigham
87 Canyon and Logan to the Utah-Idaho state line near Franklin, Idaho.

88 (2) SR-92. From [Route 15 near Point of the Mountain] Ashton Boulevard in Lehi,
89 east through American Fork Canyon to Route 189 in Provo Canyon.
90 (3) SR-93. From the on- and off-ramps on the west side of Route 15, east along the
91 south city limits of Woods Cross to Route 89.
92 (4) SR-94. From Route 70 northeasterly to Thompson.
93 (5) SR-95. From Route 24 east of Hanksville southerly crossing near the confluence of
94 the Dirty Devil and Colorado Rivers to a point 4.3 miles south of Blanding on Route 191.
95 (6) SR-96. From Clear Creek northerly through Scofield to Route 6 near Colton.
96 (7) SR-97. From Route 37 east on 5500 South Street in Hooper to the Hill Air Force
97 Base Northwest gate.
98 (8) SR-99. From Route 15 south of Fillmore northerly through Fillmore to Route 15.
99 (9) SR-100. From Route 99 in Fillmore westerly then northerly to Route 50 west of
100 Holden.
