             7      LONG TITLE
             8      General Description:
             9          This bill repeals the repeal date for language allowing an unaffiliated voter to designate
             10      or change party affiliation.
             11      Highlighted Provisions:
             12          This bill:
             13          .    repeals the repeal date for language allowing an unaffiliated voter to designate or
             14      change party affiliation; and
             15          .    makes technical changes.
             16      Money Appropriated in this Bill:
             17          None
             18      Other Special Clauses:
             19          None
             20      Utah Code Sections Affected:
             21      AMENDS:
             22          63I-2-220, as last amended by Laws of Utah 2012, Chapters 17 and 40

             24      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             25          Section 1. Section 63I-2-220 is amended to read:
             26           63I-2-220. Repeal dates, Title 20A.
             27          [(1) Section 20A-2-107.5 is repealed July 1, 2013.]
             28          [(2)] (1) Section 20A-3-704 is repealed January 1, 2016.
             29          [(3)] (2) Section 20A-5-410 is repealed January 1, 2016.


             30          [(4)] (3) (a) Subsection 20A-7-101 (1)(a)(i), the language that states "of the first class"
             31      and "; or" is repealed January 1, 2015.
             32          (b) Subsection 20A-7-101 (1)(a)(ii), the language that states "for a county not described
             33      in Subsection (1)(a)(i), a person designated as budget officer in Section 17-19-19 " is repealed
             34      January 1, 2015.
