    The Business and Labor Committee recommends H.B. 65, INSURANCE BENEFICIARY CHANGES, by Representative J. Bird, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 2nd Sub. H.B. 65, INSURANCE BENEFICIARY CHANGES with the following amendments and asks that it be placed on the Consent Calendar.


1.    Page 7, Lines 208 through 211 :

{   (3) This section does not apply to the designation of a beneficiary of a life insurance

             209      policy or annuity contract. A policyholder or certificate holder who obtains a divorce or
             210      annulment shall request a beneficiary change in the form required by the insurer in accordance
             211      with Section 31A-22-413 .   }
