Mr. President:

    The Transportation and Public Utilities and Technology Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 180, PUBLIC UTILITIES AMENDMENTS, by Senator K. Van Tassell, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 6, Lines 175 through 178 :    

             175          (ii) Notwithstanding Subsection (5)(c)(i), if, within six months after the date that

  any       oil

             176      filled equipment is transferred, the receiving party discovers that
{   the   }        a       transferred oil filled

             177      equipment contains polychlorinated biphenyl, the transferring party shall reimburse the
             178      receiving party for the cost of testing and disposal of that oil filled equipment.
