Vice Chair Cunningham called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m.

MOTION:     Rep. Oda moved to approve the minutes of the January 30, 2013 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Greenwood, Rep. Menlove, and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

H.B. 245    Consumer Protection Amendments (Rep. D. Brown)

Rep. Brown explained the bill to the committee assisted by Traci Gundersen, Director of the Division of Consumer Protection, who distributed a handout.

Jodi Hart, RRJ Consulting, representing the pawn industry spoke to the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Bird moved to hold the bill in committee. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Greenwood, Rep. Last, and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Bird moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Greenwood, Rep. Last, and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

Vice Chair Cunningham adjourned the meeting at 5:05 p.m.
