Chair Edwards called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.

MOTION:     Vice Chair Cunningham moved to approve the minutes of the January 31, 2013 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Last absent for the vote.

H.B. 245    Consumer Protection Amendments (Rep. D. Brown)

MOTION:    Rep. Oda moved to replace H.B. 245 with 1st Substitute H.B. 245. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Last absent for the vote.
    
Rep. Brown introduced the bill, assisted by Ms. Traci Gunderson, Director, Utah Division of Consumer Protection.

MOTION:    Rep. Oda moved to pass the bill out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Bird moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. Chair Edwards adjourned the meeting at 9:17 a.m.
