Vice Chair Sagers called the meeting to order at 4:13 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Wilcox moved to approve the minutes of Feb. 6, 2013. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Duckworth and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.

H.B. 231    Hazardous Waste and Mixed Waste Fees (Rep. M. Nelson)

Rep. Nelson introduced the bill to the committee with the assistance of Mr. Scott Anderson, Director, Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste, Utah Department of Environmental Quality.

MOTION:    Rep. Handy moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 112    Assessment of Property If Threatened or Endangered Species Is Present (Rep. M. Noel)

Rep. Noel introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Edwards moved to hold the bill.

SUBSTITUTE MOTION:    Rep Wiley moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Barrus and Rep. Nelson absent for the vote.
