Rep. Webb called the meeting to order at 3:32 p.m.

H.B. 62    Display of Prisoner of War and Missing in Action Flag (Rep. J. Westwood)

Rep. Westwood introduced the bill to the committee .

Spoke in favor of the bill:    Retired Captain Ronald Lewis, United States Navy (handout and                      power point presentation)

MOTION:    Rep. Dunnigan moved to proceed to the next item on the agenda. The motion passed     unanimously.

H.B. 40    Scheduling of Special Elections (Rep. K. Powell)

This bill was not considered.

Chair Webb relinquished the chair to Vice Chair Peterson.

Mr. Joseph Wade, Policy Analyst, presented the committee with an overview of political subdivisions and provided handouts.

MOTION:    Rep. Poulson moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with     Rep. Dunnigan, Rep. Hall, and Rep. Webb absent for the vote.

Vice Chair Peterson adjourned the meeting at 4:27 p.m.
