Rep. Peterson called the meeting to order at 8:14 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Sanpei moved to approve the minutes of the February 28, 2013 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. McCay and Rep. Anderson absent for the vote.


2nd Sub. S.B. 104    Vulnerable Users of Highways Amendments (Sen. T. Weiler) (Rep. V. L. Snow)

Sen. Weiler introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Sanpei moved to pass 2nd Substitute S.B. 104 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. McCay and Rep. Anderson absent for the vote.

Sen. Harper introduced the bill to the committee.

S.B. 178    Department of Transportation Revisions (Sen. K. Van Tassell) (Rep. V. Peterson)

Rep. Peterson introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Tanner moved to pass S.B. 178 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. McCay absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Barlow moved to place S.B. 178 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. McCay absent for the vote.


Rep. Peterson resumed the Chair.



H.B. 379    Rental Company Registration Amendments (Rep. D. McCay)

Rep. McCay introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Anderson moved to pass H.B. 379 out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Peterson voting in opposition.


MOTION:    Rep. Lifferth moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
