Chair Bramble called the meeting to order at 8:10 a.m.

Approval of Minutes

MOTION: Sen. Weiler moved to approve the minutes of February 27, 2013. The         motion passed unanimously with Sen. Davis absent for the vote

Chair Bramble relinquished the Chair to Sen. Valentine

S.B. 234 Fire Code Amendments

Sen. Bramble introduced and explained the bill.

Spoke in favor of the bill: Ted Black, Fire Marshal, Weber Fire District

MOTION: Sen. Bramble moved to transmit SB. 234 favorably. The motion passed      unanimously with Sen. Davis absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Bramble moved to place S.B. 234 on the Consent Calendar. The motion      passed unanimously with Sen. Davis absent for the vote.

S.B. 233 Request for Emergency Medical Assistance Amendments (C. Bramble)

Sen. Bramble introduced and explained the bill

Bramble moved to transmit S.B.233 favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Davis absent for the vote.

1st Sub.H.B. 217 State Fire Code Act Amendments

MOTION: Sen. Bramle moved to adopt 2nd Sub. H.B. 217. The motion passed unanimously.

Sen. Bramble resumed the Committee Chair.
