Sen. Reid assumed the Committee Chair and called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m.     
Approval of Minutes    

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to adopt the minutes of the February 15, 2013 meeting. The             motion passed unanimously with Sen. Jones absent for the vote.

S.J.R. 12 Joint Resolution on Taiwan (P. Knudson)

Sen. Knudson introduced and explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to transmit S.J.R. 12 favorably. The motion passed          unanimously.

H.B. 304 Enterprise Zone Amendments (K. Powell)

Rep. Powell introduced and explained the bill and answered questions from the Committee.

MOTION: Sen. Knudson moved to transmit H.B. 304 favorably. The motion passed      unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Knudson moved to place H.B. 304 on the Consent Calendar. The motion              passed unanimously.

M OTION:     Sen. Jones moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.     Acting Chair Reid adjourned the meeting at 2:16 p.m.
