Sen. Harper assumed the Committee Chair and called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

Approval of Minutes

MOTION:    
Sen. Dayton moved to approve minutes of the February 13, 2013 meeting.     The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Van Tassell absent for the vote.

S.J.R. 8 Joint Resolution Concerning Railroad and Railroad Crossing Safety (K. Mayne)

MOTION:
Sen. Mayne moved to adopt 1st Sub. S.J.R 8. The motion passed unanimously.

Sen. Mayne introduced and explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to transmit 1st Sub. S.J.R. 8 favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Van Tassell absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to place 1st Sub. S.J.R. 8 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Sen.Van Tassell absent for the vote.

S.B. 104 Vulnerable Users of Highways Amendments (T. Weiler)

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to adopt 1st Sub. S.B. 104. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Van Tassell absent for the vote.

Sen. Weiler introduced and explained the bill.

Sen. Van Tassell resumed the Committee Chair.

H.B. 93 Traffic Violations Amendments (J. Peterson)

MOTION: Sen. Harper moved to adopt 1st Sub. H.B. 93. The motion passed unanimously.

Rep. Peterson introduced and explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Harper moved to transmit 1st Sub. H.B. 93 favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 284 Net Metering Billing Cycles (K. Stratton)

Rep. Stratton introduced and explained the bill and answered questions from the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to transmit H.B. 284 favorably. The motion passed         unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to transmit H.B. 291 favorably. The motion passed         unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to place H.B. 291 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 295 Electronic Proof of Owner's or Operator's Security (D. Brown)

Rep. Brown introduced and explained the bill.


MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to transmit H.B. 295 favorably. The motion passed         unanimously.

MOTION:    Sen. Dayton moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. Chair Van Tassell adjourned the meeting at 4:50 p.m.
