    Senate Committee Amendments
    3-7-2013 :    

             69          (2) "Event data recorder" S. [means a device or function in a vehicle that records the
             70      vehicle's dynamic, time-series data during the time period just prior to a crash event, including
             71      vehicle speed versus time, or during a crash event, including delta-V versus time, intended for
             72      retrieval after the crash event.] has the same meaning as defined in 49 C.F.R. Sec. 563.5
  as in effect on May 14, 2013       . .S

             99          (c) the data is subject to discovery
  in a criminal prosecution or       pursuant to the rules of civil procedure in a claim

             100      arising out of a motor vehicle accident;
