Senator Evan J. Vickers proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 15 through 18 :

             15          .    provides that UCAN provide the public safety network for all state and local
             16      governmental agencies:
             17              .    that currently subscribe to UCAN; and
             18              .    that currently do not subscribe to UCAN;

. directs that UCAN work with the private sector to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services;
