(1)(a) through (h) may waive all or part of the nonresident portion of tuition for a

nonresident undergraduate, graduate, or summer school student

(i) the student is meritorious as determined under Subsection (2)(b); and
(ii) the student intends to pursue a degree in engineering, computer science, or related technology,
as designated by the State Board of Regents in accordance with Section 53B-6-105.
