Senator Aaron Osmond proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 2, Lines 42 through 43 :    

             42      individual student.
 

    (b) "Property tax base per student" means a school district's total taxable property value divided by the school district's student enrollment, based on the October enrollment counts.

{   (b)   }        (c)       "Technology protection device" means a technology that blocks or filters Internet


2.    Page 4, Line 90 :    

             90      purpose of generating revenue to provide matching funds for a grant under this section.
 

    (8) In awarding grants under this section, the State Board of Education shall give preference to a school district with a property tax base per student that is less than the average of the school districts' property tax base per student.
