HOUSE RULES RESOLUTION FORMING SPECIAL INVESTIGATIVE COMMITTEE

House Committee Amendments

Representative Larry B. Wiley proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 3, Lines 70 through 75 :

             70          (b) The Special Investigative Committee shall present a written final report to the

{ ~~Speaker~~ } House when, by majority vote, the members of the Special Investigative Committee approve

             72      a final written report.
             73          (c) The members of the Special Investigative Committee who do not vote in favor of
             74      the final report described in Subsection (11)(a), may present a minority report to the

{ ~~Speaker~~ } House at

75 the same time that the final report is presented to the

{ ~~Speaker~~ } House .

(d) The final report and minority report, if any, may contain only findings of fact and not conclusions as to what the House should do in light of the findings of fact, except for any recommendations for legislation.
