(13) (a) The Legislative Audit Subcommittee is requested to obtain an audit of the Office of the
Attorney General by the Legislative Auditor to be completed as soon as possible but no later than
December 31, 2013, unless otherwise extended by the Legislative Audit Subcommittee.
(b) The audit shall independently assess and evaluate the effect of the matters to be separately
investigated as provided in this resolution.
(c) The Auditor shall research, evaluate, and report to the Legislature on the overall
organization, case load, policies, practices, and including use and reliance on additional outside counsel
and the combined effectiveness of the Office of Attorney General's operations and performance of its
constitutional and statutory responsibilities and purposes.
