             8      General Description:
             9          This bill allows certain parties to enter into an interlocal agreement that extends beyond
             10      a maximum term requirement.
             11      Highlighted Provisions:
             12          This bill:
             13          .    allows certain parties to enter into an interlocal agreement that extends beyond a
             14      maximum 50-year term requirement; and
             15          .    makes technical corrections.

             24      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             25          Section 1. Section 11-13-216 is amended to read:
             26           11-13-216. Term of agreements.
             27          (1) Except as provided in [Subsection] Subsections (2) and 11-13-204 (3), each
             28      agreement under this chapter shall extend for a term [of] not to exceed 50 years.
             29          (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to an agreement to which:


             30          (a) a project entity is a party;
             31          (b) an electric interlocal entity is a party; or
             32          (c) an energy services interlocal entity is a party.
