             8      General Description:
             9          This bill repeals provisions relating to appellate bonds for political subdivisions.
             10      Highlighted Provisions:

             16          This bill provides an immediate effective date.
             17      Utah Code Sections Affected:
             18      REPEALS:
             19           78B-5-805 , as repealed and reenacted by Laws of Utah 2013, Chapter 33
             20     
             21      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             22          Section 1. Repealer.
             23          This bill repeals:
             24          Section 78B-5-805 , State, state officers, and political subdivisions not required to
             25      give bond -- Exception for appeal.
             26          Section 2. Effective date.
             27          If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect


             28      upon approval by the governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of Utah
             29      Constitution, Article VII, Section 8, without the governor's signature, or in the case of a veto,
             30      the date of veto override.
