7 LONG TITLE
8 General Description:
9 This bill modifies the Designation of State Highways Act by amending state highway
10 descriptions.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 . amends the description of SR-157 in the Helper area;
14 . removes SR-244 in the Helper area from the state highway system; and
15 . makes technical corrections.

25 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
26 Section 1. Section 72-4-121 is amended to read:
27 72-4-121. State highways -- SR-152 to SR-160.
28 State highways include:
29 (1) SR-152. From Route 71 at 4800 South Street southeasterly on Van Winkle

30 Expressway to the Route 215 Interchange near 6400 South Street.
31 (2) SR-153. From Route 160 in Beaver easterly by Puffer Lake to Route 89 in Junction
32 City.
33 (3) SR-154. From Route 15 westerly near 13400 South on Bangerter Highway to near
34 3200 West; then northerly to the westbound off ramp of Route 80 near the Salt Lake
35 International Airport.
36 (4) SR-155. From Route 10 in Huntington northeasterly to Cleveland; then northerly
37 to Route 10 at Washboard Junction.
38 (5) SR-156. From Route 198 in Spanish Fork north on Main Street to Route 15.
39 (6) SR-157. From Route [244 at Poplar and Main Streets in Helper] 6 in Helper
40 easterly on Poplar Street to Main Street; then southerly and northeasterly to Kenilworth.
41 (7) SR-158. From Eden Junction on Route 39 northerly to the parking lot of Powder
42 Mountain Ski Resort.
43 (8) SR-159. From Route 21 near Garrison north to Route 6 near the Utah-Nevada state
44 line.
45 (9) SR-160. From Route 15 south of Beaver northerly through Beaver to Route 15
46 north of Beaver.
47 Section 2. Section 72-4-130 is amended to read:
48 72-4-130. State highways -- SR-241, SR-243, SR-248.
49 State highways include:
50 (1) SR-241. From SR-114 east on 1600 North in Orem to the on- and off-ramps on the
51 east side of interstate Route 15.
52 (2) SR-243. From Route 89 in Logan Canyon to Beaver Mountain Ski Resort.
53 [(3) SR-244. From Route 6 in Helper easterly on Poplar Street to Main Street; then
54 northerly on Main Street to Route 6.]
55 [(4)] (3) SR-248. From Route 224 at Park City Junction to Route 40 at the Park City
56 Interchange; then southeasterly and easterly to Route 32 in Kamas.
