Madam Speaker:

    The Transportation Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 101, ROADWAY AND SIDEWALK SAFETY AMENDMENTS, by Representative J. Nielson, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 3, Lines 70 through 71 :    

             70          (g) The state, a county, or a municipality may grant a person a temporary exemption
             71      from this Subsection (4) by written authorization for a specified location or time.

      (h) nothing in this section prohibits a temporary spontaneous demonstration.
