    The Government Operations Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 196, FLEET MANAGEMENT AMENDMENTS, by Representative E. Hutchings, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 25 through Page 2, Line 28 :    

             25          67-5-23.

{   Personal use   }        Use       of state vehicles for law enforcement officers.

             26          The attorney general may authorize [up to 28] law enforcement officers, as defined
             27      under Section 53-13-103 , who are employees in the Office of the Attorney General to use a
             28      state issued vehicle for official and
{   personal   }        commuter       use.
