    The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 236, STATE SCHOOL BOARD NOMINATION REVISIONS, by Representative K. Powell, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 4, Lines 113 through 114 :    

             113          (c) submit a list of at least three candidates for each state board position to the
             114      governor by July 1

  , including the person currently serving in that position if that person is seeking reelection       ; and
