Madam Speaker:

    The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 292, SCHOOL GRADING - CALCULATION OF HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION RATE, by Representative R. Menlove, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 3, Line 63 :    

             63      plan to complete graduation requirements in more than four years.

  The state board shall report the number of students excluded from the four-year adjusted cohort for the graduating class for each school.
