Madam Speaker:

    The Political Subdivisions Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 18, LOCAL GOVERNMENT GENERAL FUND AMENDMENTS, by Senator D. Thatcher, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 4, Lines 94 through 95 :    

             94          (2) The accumulation of a fund balance in the [General Fund] town general fund may
             95      not exceed 75% of the total

{   estimated   } revenue of the [General Fund] town general fund        for the current fiscal period       .


2.    Page 9, Lines 253 through 254 :    

             253          (2) The accumulation of a fund balance in the city general fund may not exceed 25% of
             254      the total
{   estimated   } revenue of the city general fund        for the current fiscal period       .
