    The Revenue and Taxation Committee recommends S.J.R. 18, UTAH FIBER FRIENDLY STATE - JOINT RESOLUTION, by Senator H. Stephenson, be replaced and favorably recommends 1st Sub. S.J.R. 18, UTAH BROADBAND FRIENDLY STATE - JOINT RESOLUTION with the following amendments:


1.    Page 1, Lines 17 through 20 :    

             17          .    urges the Governor's Office of Economic Development to work in concert with the
             18      Utah League of Cities and Towns and

{   to offer   } private providers        to offer       support,

             19      encouragement, and technical expertise to Utah's cities and towns in promoting the
             20      goal of broadband connectivity to every Utah home and business.

2.    Page 3, Lines 64 through 68 :    

             64          BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Legislature of the state of Utah urges the
             65      Governor's Office of Economic Development to work in concert with the Utah League of
             66      Cities and Towns and
