Chair Dunnigan called the meeting to order at 4:18 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Anderegg moved to approve the minutes of the February 21, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Anderson, Rep. Froerer, Rep. Layton, Rep. Roberts, Rep. Stanard, and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.

H.B. 142    Securities Act Amendments (Rep. F. Gibson)

Rep. Gibson explained the bill to the committee assisted by Gary Leavitt, Real Estate Broker.

MOTION:    Rep. Cox moved to return H.B. 142 to rules for interim study. The motion passed with Rep. Anderegg voting in opposition and Rep. McKell and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

H.B. 355    Interest on Retained Funds for General Contractors (Rep. B. Wilson)

This bill was not heard.

H.B. 141    Health Reform Amendments (Rep. J. Dunnigan)

MOTION:    
Rep. Dunnigan moved to replace H.B. 141 with 1st Substitute H.B. 141. The motion passed with Rep. Wheatley voting in opposition and Rep. McKell and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Dunnigan moved to amend 1st Sub. H.B. 141 as follows:

1.    Page 2, Line 37 :

MOTION:    Rep. Wilson moved to replace 2nd Sub. S.B. 147 with 3rd Sub. S. B. 147. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Froerer and Rep. Layton absent for the vote.

H.B. 89    Condominium Owners Amendments (Rep. E. Tanner)

MOTION:    Rep. Bird moved to replace H.B. 89 with 2nd Substitute H.B. 89. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Froerer and Rep. Layton absent for the vote.

Rep. Tanner distributed a handout titled "HB 0089 Condominium Owners Amendments" and explained the bill to the committee.
