Chair Edwards called the meeting to order at 8:08 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Romero moved to approve the minutes of the February 25, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Last, Rep. Nelson, and Rep. Oda absent for the vote.

H.C.R. 12    Concurrent Resolution Recognizing the 30th Anniversary of the Sundance Institute (Rep. J. Seelig)

Rep. Selig explained the resolution to the committee assisted by Sara West, Sundance Institute.

MOTION:    Rep. Romero moved to pass out favorably H.C.R. 12. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Nelson and Rep. Oda absent for the vote.

H.C.R. 11    Concurrent Resolution Recognizing 100th Anniversary of Logan Regional Hospital (Rep. E. Redd)

Rep. Redd explained the resolution to the committee assisted by Chris Dallin, Intermountain Healthcare.

MOTION:    Rep. Menlove moved to pass out favorably H.C.R. 11. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Oda absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Menlove moved to place H.C.R. 11 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Nelson and Rep. Oda absent for the vote.



H.B. 396    Association Open Meeting Amendments (Rep. G. Hughes)

Rep. Hughes explained the bill to the committee assisted by Val Weight, Community Associations Institute.

2nd Sub. S.B. 45    Military Installation Development Authority Amendments (Sen. J. Stevenson)
