Chair McIff called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Arent moved to approve the minutes of the March 4, 2014, meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hall and Rep. Greene absent for the vote.

1st Sub. H.B. 348    Child Support Amendments (Rep. K. Stratton)

Rep. Stratton explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Christensen moved to replace 1st Substitute H.B. 348 with 2nd Substitute H.B. 348 "Child Support Amendments." The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hall and Rep. Greene absent for the vote.

Spoke in favor of the bill:    Ms. Jacquline Warren, representing herself
                Ms. Dani Hartvigsen, Coalition for the Preservation of Family                 Values. A handout was provided (handwritten).

MOTION:    Rep. Arent moved to return the bill to the Rules Committee for interim study.


SUBSTITUTE MOTION:
    Rep. Christensen moved to pass the bill out favorably as substituted and amended. The motion failed with Rep. Arent, Rep. Hall, Rep. King, Rep. Snow and Chair McIff voting in opposition.

The original motion to return the bill to the Rules Committee passed unanimously.

H.B. 366    Expungement Amendments (Rep. E. Hutchings)


Rep. Hutchings explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Perry moved to replace H.B. 366 with 1st Substitute H.B. 366. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Hutchings moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 6, Lines 159 through 160 :    

             159          (b) The following organizations may receive information contained in expunged

1st Sub. S.B. 112    Game Fowl Fighting Amendments (Sen. G. Davis)

Sen. Davis explained the bill to the committee and distributed "Memo from Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office."

MOTION:    Rep. Hall moved to amend the bill as follows:

The motion passed with Rep. Christensen voting in opposition.

H.B. 411    Victim Restitution Amendments (Rep. B. Wilson)


At the request of the sponsor, the bill was not considered.

MOTION:    Rep. Perry moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously. Chair McIff adjourned the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
