Vice Chair Nelson called the meeting to order at 1:10 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Duckworth moved to approve the minutes of the February 10, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Eliason and Rep. Last absent for the vote.

H.B. 194    Public Safety Retirement Conversion Window (Rep. L. Perry)

Rep. Perry explained the bill.

Spoke for the bill:    Shanna Johnson, Human Resource Supervisor, Perry City

Spoke to the bill:    Dee Larsen, Legal Council, Utah Retirement Systems

MOTION:    Rep. Eliason moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 126    Retirement Amendments (Rep. L. Perry)

Rep. Perry explained the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Moss moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Froerer and Rep. Last voting in opposition and Rep. Powell absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Draxler moved to adjourn the meeting.

Vice Chair Nelson adjourned the meeting at 1:59 p.m.
