SCHOOL-BASED BUDGETING AMENDMENTS

Senator Howard A. Stephenson proposes the following amendments:

1. Page 2, Line 42 :

42 53A-2-507 , Utah Code Annotated 1953

53A-2-508, Utah Code Annotated 1953

2.    Page 7, Line 183 through Page 7, Line 184 :

             183      Section 53A-2-504 ; and
             184          (4) each school budget.

Section 9. Section 53A-2-508 is enacted to read:

    53A-2-508. Principal's election to not implement school-based budgeting.
    (1) An annual basis, a principal may elect to not implement school-based budgeting.
    (2) Sections 53A-2-504 through 53A-2-507 do not apply to a school where school-based budgeting is not implemented pursuant to Subsection (1).
