Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m.


MOTION:     Rep. Knotwell moved to approve the minutes of the January 28, 2015 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Anderegg, Rep. Dunnigan, Rep. Froerer, Rep. Pitcher, Rep. Roberts, Rep. Webb, and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

 

H.B. 138         Joint Credit Obligations Amendments (Rep. K. Powell)


Rep. Powell explained the bill assisted by Curtis Cox, attorney.


Spoke against the bill:            Howard Headlee         Utah Bankers Association

                                                Scott Simpson            Utah Credit Union Association


MOTION:     Rep. Knotwell moved to hold the bill. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Pitcher and Rep. Webb absent for the vote.

 

H.B. 37           Reauthorization of Administrative Rules (Rep. C. Oda)


Rep. Oda explained the bill.



MOTION:     Rep. Stanard moved to replace H.B. 37 with 1st Substitute H.B. 37. The motion passed unanimously.


MOTION:     Rep. Dunnigan moved to pass out favorably 1st Sub. H.B. 37. The motion passed unanimously.

 

H.B. 126         Design Professionals - Amendments (Rep. F. Cox)


Rep. Cox distributed two handouts: Interior Design Legislation, H.B. 126 and Additional Information for 2015 H.B. 126 and explained the bill assisted by Holly Richardson and Amy Coombs, Ideal for Utah.

MOTION:     Rep. Cox moved to proceed to the next item on the agenda. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dunnigan and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

 

H.B. 96           Real Estate Transaction Amendments (Rep. B. Greene)


This bill was not heard.


MOTION:     Rep. Duckworth moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dunnigan and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.
