Vice Chair Spendlove called the meeting to order at 8:10 a.m.

MOTION:     Rep. Ward moved to approve the minutes of the February 19, 2015, meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Chair McIff, Rep. Barlow and Rep. Chavez-Houck absent for the vote.

H.B. 279         Prescription Notification Amendments (Rep. B. Dee)

Rep. Dee explained 2nd Substitute H.B. 279 to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Ray moved to replace H.B. 279 with 2nd Substitute H.B. 279, "Prescription Notification Amendments." The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Barlow and Chair McIff absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Ray moved to pass 2nd Substitute H.B. 279 out favorably as substituted.

SUBSTITUTE

MOTION:     Rep. Chavez-Houck moved to hold the bill. The motion failed with Rep. Chavez- Houck, Rep. Thurston, and Rep. Ward voting in favor, and Rep. Barlow and Chair McIff absent for the vote.

The original motion to pass the bill out favorably passed with Rep. Thurston and Rep. Ward voting in opposition and Rep. Barlow and Chair McIff absent for the vote.

S.B. 111          Occupational Safety and Health Regulation (Sen. S. Jenkins)

Sen. Jenkins explained the bill to the committee.

Sen. Knudson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Brown moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Barlow and Chair McIff absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Thurston moved to place S.B. 92 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Barlow and Chair McIff absent for the vote.
