Vice Chair Spendlove called the meeting to order at 8:10 a.m.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Ward moved to approve the minutes of the February 19, 2015, meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Chair McIff, Rep. Barlow and Rep. Chavez-Houck absent for the vote.

 

H.B. 279         Prescription Notification Amendments (Rep. B. Dee)


Rep. Dee explained 2nd Substitute H.B. 279 to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Ray moved to pass 2nd Substitute H.B. 279 out favorably as substituted.

MOTION:     Rep. Chavez-Houck moved to hold the bill. The motion failed with Rep. Chavez- Houck, Rep. Thurston, and Rep. Ward voting in favor, and Rep. Barlow and Chair McIff absent for the vote.


The original motion to pass the bill out favorably passed with Rep. Thurston and Rep. Ward voting in opposition and Rep. Barlow and Chair McIff absent for the vote.
