Vice Chair Spendlove called the meeting to order at 4:21 p.m.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Barlow moved to approve the minutes of February 23, 2016, and February 25, 2016. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hall, Rep. Ward, and Chair McIff absent for the vote.

 

H.B. 339         Child Welfare Services Amendments (Rep. K. Christofferson)


Rep. Christofferson explained the bill to the committee.

H.B. 400         Methadone Treatment Amendments (Rep. E. Redd)

MOTION:     Rep. Ward moved to pass 1st Substitute H.B. 400 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep. Chavez-Houck, and Rep. Spendlove absent for the vote.

 

H.B. 370         Adoptive Studies and Evaluations Amendments (Rep. E. Redd)


Rep. Redd explained H.B. 370 to the committee.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Ray moved to replace H.B. 370 with 1st substitute H.B. 370, Adoptive Studies and Evaluations Amendments. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep. Chavez-Houck, and Rep. Spendlove absent for the vote.
