Chair McIff called the meeting to order at 10:17 a.m.

S.B. 199          Skilled Nursing Facility Amendments (Sen. B. Shiozawa)

Sen. Shiozawa presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Thurston moved to replace S. B. 199 with 1st Substitute S.B. 199, Skilled Nursing Facility Amendments. The motion passed unanimously.

Spoke to the bill:        Scott Barlow, Revere Health

MOTION:     Rep. Kennedy moved to pass 1st Substitute S.B. 199 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

First Substitute S.B. 154      Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations (Sen. J. S. Adams)

Rep. Wilson presented the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill:       Dave Gessell, Utah Hospital Association

MOTION:     Rep. Ray moved to pass S.B. 154 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

At the request of the sponsor, the bill was not heard.

The bill was not heard.

MOTION:     Rep. Thurston moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
