9 This bill amends a restriction on the provision of county recorder services.

22 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
23 Section 1. Section 17-21-18 is amended to read:
24 17-21-18. Fees must be paid in advance.
25 The recorder may not record any instrument, furnish any copies, or provide any service
26 connected with the office, until the fees prescribed by law have been paid or have been
27 authorized to be paid electronically.
