8 General Description:
9 This bill amends the New Automobile Franchise Act and the Powersport Vehicle
10 Franchise Act.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 ▸ limits the applicability of the New Automobile Franchise Act to a franchise in effect
14 before June 1, 2018; and
15 ▸ limits the applicability of the Powersport Vehicle Franchise Act to a franchise in
16 effect before June 1, 2018.

26 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
27 Section 1. Section 13-14-101.5 is enacted to read:
28 13-14-101.5. Scope.
29 This chapter does not apply to a franchise entered into or renewed on or after June 1,
30 2018.
31 Section 2. Section 13-35-101.5 is enacted to read:
32 13-35-101.5. Scope.
33 This chapter does not apply to a franchise entered into or renewed on or after June 1,
34 2018.
