9     General Description:
10          This joint resolution recognizes the right of the people to pursue work.
11     Highlighted Provisions:
12          This resolution:
13          ▸     recognizes government is restricted from infringing on the right to pursue a trade,
14     vocation, occupation, or career, except in specified circumstances.
15     Special Clauses:
16          None

18     Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
19          WHEREAS, it is the right of the people of the state of Utah to pursue an honest trade,
20     vocation, occupation, or career:
21          NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of the state of Utah
22     declares that it is the policy of this state that government may not infringe on the individual,
23     inalienable right of the people of the state to pursue an honest trade, vocation, occupation, or
24     career, unless the infringement is narrowly tailored, and the least restrictive means possible, to
25     protect against identifiable, likely, and Ĥ→ [significant] meaningful ←Ĥ harm to the financial

26     safety of the public.
