Article VI, Section 8. [Legislator, privilege from arrest.]
Members of the Legislature, in all cases except treason, felony or breach of the peace,
shall be privileged from arrest during each session of the Legislature, for fifteen days next
preceding each session, and in returning therefrom; and for words used in any speech or debate in
either house, they shall not be questioned in any other place.
