The task force will be briefed on the operation of the federal Health Insurance Marketplace launched October 1, 2013, in Utah.

The task force will consider whether the state should establish and operate a state-based risk adjustment program under the federal Affordable Care Act.

10:30 4. Governor’s Health Summit
The task force will be briefed on information presented at the 2013 Governor’s Health Summit held September 26, 2013.

The task force will be briefed on recent Affordable Care Act regulations and implementation guidance not already covered under other agenda items.

NOTICE
The Charity Care Team will meet Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. in the Kletting Room of the Senate Building (the building on the east side of the capitol plaza).
The Mental and Behavioral Health Team will meet Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 9:00 in the Kletting Room of the Senate Building (the building on the east side of the capitol plaza).
The Avenue H and Insurance Market Team will meet Thursday, October 17, 2013, immediately following adjournment of the task force meeting (which could be as early as 10:30 a.m.) in Room 30 of the House Building, the same room where the task force meets.
All interested parties are invited to participate in any of the team meetings. Notice of topics to be covered and any changes to this schedule will be communicated by email to the task force teams.
