Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 2:18 p.m.

 

Chair Madsen announced that S.B. 175 and S.B. 161 would not be heard today.

 

S.B. 108          Judiciary Amendments (Sen. L. Hillyard)

 

Sen. Hillyard explained the bill to the committee.

 

Spoke to the bill:         Rick Schwermer, Assistant State Court Administrator         

 

MOTION:      Sen. Jones moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen.Thatcher and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

 

S.B. 115          Court Transcript Fees (Sen. P. Jones)

 

Sen. Jones explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:      Sen. Jones moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

 

S.B. 159          Bail Amendments (Sen. S. Jenkins)

 

Sen. Jenkins explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:      Sen. Hillyard moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

 

MOTION:      Sen. Hillyard moved to adjourn.  The motion passed unanimously.
