Chair Dayton called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m.


S.C.R. 1       Concurrent Resolution Recognizing the 60th Anniversary of the Inclusion of Under God in the Pledge of Allegiance   (A. Osmond)

 

Sen. Osmond explained the resolution.

 

MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to pass the resolution out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Robles, Sen. Shiozawa, and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

 

S.B. 99 Natural Gas State Vehicle Requirements  


MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to replace S.B. 99 with 1st Sub. S.B. 99 State Vehicle Efficiency Requirements. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Robles, Sen. Shiozawa, and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

 

Rep. Jenkins explained the substitute bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to replace S.B. 36 with 1st Sub. S.B. 36. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to place S.B. 116 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

 

S.B. 117 Online Voter Registration Revisions (M. Dayton)

S.B.105        Financial Disclosure Reporting Amendments (M. Dayton)

 

Sen. Dayton explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to amend the bill as follows:

 

1. Page 2, Line 31:     After "mail" Delete "or postal mail"

                                    Insert " unless postal mail is requested"

MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to pass the amended bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.


MOTION:  Sen. Hillyard moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.
