Chair Dayton called the meeting to order at 2:06 p.m.
Chair Dayton announced that S.B. 167 would not be heard today.
MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to approve the minutes of the February 4, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard, Robles and Thatcher absent for the vote.
S.B. 158 Cemetery Amendments (S. Jenkins)
Sen. Jenkins explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Hillyard and Robles absent for the vote.
S.B. 174 Emergency Fiscal Procedures Counties (D. Henderson)
Sen. Henderson explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

Sen. Dayton explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to replace S.B. 53 with 1st Sub. S.B. 53. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion failed with Sens Robles, Thatcher and Van Tassell voting in opposition and Sen. Shiozawa absent for the vote.
Sen. Weiler, the sponsor of S.B. 141 announced that this bill has been incorporated in S.B. 97.

S.B. 90 Residency Amendments (T. Weiler)
