Chair Dayton called the meeting to order at 8:04 a.m.

S.B. 84 Amendments to Governor’s Rural Boards (Sen. R. Okerlund)

Sen. Okerlund explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill: Delynn Fielding, Director Rural, Governor’s Office of Economic Development

MOTION: Sen. Shiozawa moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Thatcher and Van Tassell absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Shiozawa moved to approve the minutes of the February 6 and February10, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Thatcher and Van Tassell absent for the vote.

Chair Dayton announced that 1^st Sub. H.B. 59 National Guard Program Amendments (V. Peterson) and S.B. 179 Procurement Revisions (S. Jenkins) will not be heard today.

H.B. 25 Eminent Domain Amendments (L. Perry)

Rep. Perry explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to pass H.B. 25 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 14 Administrative Rulemaking Amendments (C. Oda)

Rep. Oda explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to pass H.B. 14 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

S.B. 51 Local Government Entities Amendments (J. Stevenson)

Sen. Stevenson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to go to the next item on the agenda. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

S.B. 169 Public Meetings Materials Requirements (D. Henderson)

MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to replace S.B. 169 with 2^nd Sub. S.B. 169. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

Sen. Henderson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.
