Chair Vickers called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.

S.C.R. 3 Concurrent Resolution on the School of Dentistry Serving Underprivileged Children (Sen. P. Jones)

MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to amend the bill as follows:

I. Page 2, Lines 51 through 54:

51 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be sent to the University

52 of Utah School of Dentistry, the Utah Department of Health, the Utah Medical Association, the Utah Dental Association, the

53 Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents, and the members of Utah's congressional

54 delegation.

The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Robles and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

Sen. Jones explained the bill to the committee:

Spoke to the bill: Dr. Glen Hanson, Associate Dean, University of Utah Dental School,

Utah Addiction Center

Dr. Rena D’Souza, Dean, University of Utah Dental School

MOTION: Sen. Robles moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously

with Sen. Shiowaza absent for the vote.

S.B. 66 Community Health Worker Certification Act (Sen. L. Robles)

Sen. Robles explained the bill to the committee:

MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
