Chair Dayton called the meeting to order at 2:22 p.m.
MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to approve the minutes of the February 13 and 18, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
S.R. 2 Senate Rules Resolution – Legislative per Diem Amendments (L. Hillyard)
Sen. Hillyard explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to place S.R. 2 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.
S.J.R. 16 Joint Rules Resolution – Legislative Compensation and Expense Revisions (L. Hillyard)
Sen. Hillyard explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to place S.J.R. 16 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.
At the request of the sponsor, Chair Dayton announced that S.B. 113 – Public Meetings Amendments (K. Mayne), would not be heard today.
H.B. 272 Municipal Election Amendments – Office Hours (J. Knotwell)
Rep. Knotwell explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion pass unanimously.
1st Sub. HJR 10 Joint Rules Resolution Regarding a Long-term Planning Conference (B. Wilson) was not heard today.
1st Sub. H.B. 283 Nonprofit Entity Receipt of Government Money (R. Menlove) was not heard today.
MOTION: Sen. Van Tassell moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
Chair Dayton adjourned the meeting at 2:30 p.m.
