Acting Chair Hinkins called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m.


S.B. 212 Invasive Species Amendments (Sen. P. Knudson)


Sen. Knudson explained the bill to the committee.


Spoke for the bill: Sterling Brown, Vice President, Public Policy, Utah Farm Bureau Federation

Greg Sheehan, Director, Division of Wildlife Resources


MOTION: Sen. Knudson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Jenkins and Sen. Vickers absent for the vote.


S.B. 213 Compulsory Pooling Amendments (R. Okerlund)


Sen. Okerlund explained the bill to the committee.


Chair Jenkins resumed the Chair.

Rep. McKell explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Hinkins moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Knudson absent for the vote.


MOTION: Sen. Hinkins moved to approve the minutes of the February 21, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Knudson absent for the vote.


MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
