Chair Vickers called the meeting to order at 4:08 p.m.

MOTION: Sen. Robles moved to approve the minutes of the February 24, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Thatcher and Sen. Shiozawa absent for the vote.

S.J.R. 9 Joint Resolution Urging Interstate Sharing of Putative Father Registry (Sen. L. Robles)

Sen. Robles explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Robles moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously

with Sen. Shiozawa absent for the vote.

S.B. 71 Informed Consent Amendments (Sen. W. Harper)

Sen. Harper explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill: Michelle McOmber, Chief Executive Officer, Utah Medical Association

MOTION: Sen. Robles moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Shiozawa moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Sen.

Robles absent for the vote.

Chair Vickers adjourned the meeting at 4:20 p.m.
