Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 4:28 p.m.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Thatcher moved to approve the minutes of the February 28, 2014 meeting.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Weiler and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.    

 

S.B. 256       Asset Forfeiture Amendment (Sen. H. Stephenson)

 

Sen. Stephenson explained the bill to the committee.

H.B. 301      Concealed Weapon Permit for Servicemembers (Rep. V. Peterson)

 

Rep. Peterson explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Thatcher moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

MOTION:   Sen. Thatcher moved the bill be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

 

Chair Madsen asked Sen. Thatcher to chair the meeting.

 

S.B. 259       Victim Reparations Fund Amendments (Sen. M. Madsen)

 

Sen. Madsen explained the bill to the committee.
